I have a problem with this disc (R1). During the actual film on Disc 1, the subtitles come on at random! If you go into the menu to make sure they are off, the disappear for a while, then re-appear in another language! I have checked the player with the second disc of the set and with other discs and encountered no problems, so I conclude that there is a fault with the first disc of the set - or am I missing something. Could it be a Python P*ss-Take?

TC, I don't think this is a Python joke. It's actually a known fault. Seems to manifest itself with certian players.

I'm pretty sure this was mentioned on the DVDdebate.com website.

Can't be more specific than that. It plays okay on my Pioneer DVL 919. But a friend of mine had issues with the menus on his Samsung.

I'd refer the issue to the manufacturers.
