Me too, I've had mine about 6 weeks and still waiting for the multi-region CD from AV Land -_-. I'm beginning to wonder if it will ever materialize.
The only thing that bugs me about the unit is some very slight hissing from the speakers (I was told that was normal?). Picture for DVD's is excellent in 720p or 1080i, and sound is good. Obviously not full 5.1 as on 2 speakers and a sub, but does a good job of creating some surround effect and nice immersive sound.
I don't know about your ipod problem sorry (I don't use an ipod on mine atm). If I get the disc before you, your welcome to borrow mine.

I was told I should get it in about a week now - so hope for the best .
Re: the speakers hissing, not even alittle if you get right up to them? I tryed setting mine up away from other cables etc, incase it was interference, but always the same.. It's like a slight fuzzy metallic hissing sound, abit quieter than a PC fan.
Maybe I should have sent it back for a replacement.

Just buy it from an authorised Uk denon dealer, whom will mod it for you once denon release a fully tested and bug free version!

Just received my S301 today and the guy who came from the dealer to install it brought along a CD for the region mod.....seems to work fine with discs from Zone 1 and 2....
On another note, the Ipod functionality is a bit slow once you get down lower in the Artists list......the manual says to update the software on the ipod so maybe I'll have to try....
Enjoy,
Jeff

The files come to about 40mb so too large to send by email, and I don't have anywhere to upload to. Just PM me and I'll send you the CD
If anyone else wants it just post below, then after themullet has used the update disc - he can send it onto the next person, and so on, so everyone can update.

Hi!
Just got the set as well. The dealer here in Oslo, Norway hasn't got the disc yet. It would therefore be nice to download it from somewhere.
Anyone here on the forum who has an idea on how to fix things?
