skype or net2phone?

Currently i am using net 2 phone but reading mixed reports on quality of skype, has anyone used both to compare and give advice thanks :thumbsup:

Thanks your reply, I am quite happy with net2phone but sometimes it is quite bad for the person receiving the call not me who is making it that is why i was thinking of Skype as alternative.:hiya:

Skype worked fine for me except for

I have used Skype conferencing facility with 4 people on broadband connections and that can be patchy. Most of the time I redialed them on a land line at 1ppm each this was a cheap option.

I tried calling India and the connection was unreliable. This is probably because of the over utilisation of international Internet pipes.

As long as you both have reliable Broadband connections it should be ok.

i am using it from adsl line to phone not pc to pc video conferencing. but the problem is with the line itself uploading is about 1/10 of the downloading speed on dsl which is 1 mb in Cyprus. I think that is why i can listen good to any phone but person listening has problems.
