Couldn't agree more, a classic album, but then I'm bound to say that as Steely are my favorite group
Funny enough though I'm not that fussed on the album they won the grammy for "two against nature". If there are any more Steely fans lurking around try tuning into Arrow rock (675 medium wave), it's a dutch radio channel but they play loads of Steely and lots of other classic rock. Admitedly they repeat a lot (what radio stations don't) but I never get tired of hearing Steely Dan.
Cheers,
Oddbodd.

PS another good thing about Arrow Rock is they don't waffle on a lot and even when they do it's Dutch so you don't understand a word

I'll have to get that one. Two Against Nature is an excellent album - wish I'd bought a vinyl copy before they become so expensive. 'Everything Must Go' is pretty good - Pixeleen is one of the best tracks on there, IMHO. Very tongue-in-cheek are the lyrics.

Definately another "Dan Fan" here - I should soon have all their early albums on CD (I prefer the old school than the more recent stuff )
The review you directed us too is great as far as it goes but I was suprised to note a few glaring omissions (IMHO) - No mention was made of the contribution by Larry Carlton who plays guitar on every track apart from "Peg"
Another piece of "trivia" not mentioned is that Producer Gary Katz had an Engineer on this album (& others) called Elliot Scheiner who now is a real "Guru" in the 5.1 field (used by Steely Dan / Porcupine Tree / The Eagles / Donald Fagen / REM & many more ...)
