All in one specifics - please help!

Hi,

i'm looking to buy an all in one package for my dad.

budget can go up to £300 and doesn't need to include DVD.

It will be hooked up to a Panny 42" PE50 and would want to hear normal tv throught the speakers too.

The main specific is that he wants those "tubular" floorstanding speakers.

He had mentioned the Pioneer DCS-340 to me but he wanted the smaller rear satellites at the front, as he wanted to have the floorstanders at the rear. I said that this wasn't advisable and that we should look at getting a system that includes 4 "tubular" floorstanders as he doesn't like the thinner "pole" speaker stands.

Hope someone can help!.

Lee

If all four speakers are the same strength despite being a different design, it should be no problem. Certainly all my Sats. are the same, I can put them where I like.
