Pioneer To Ipod Mini

Hi all first post,
Just got the G/F ipod mini mainly to be used in her car, but im having problems connecting it, i bought a rca to headphone jack, then realised her h/u only has aux out, tried Dension ice link but they dont do a ipod car kit for Pioneer yet, so is there another way to connect the ipod to a Pioneer, the only way i can think that anything can link the two would be through the cd changer connection, if this is the case is there any adapters out there that would allow me to keep the cd changer and run the ipod.
cheers

One way is to buy a low-powered FM radio transmitter, plug it into the headphone outlet (or dock connector) and tune in the radio to the broadcast. It's illegal to use these in the UK so they arent sold in High St stores. A web search will find you choices. You can get dedicated accessories, such as the Griffin iTrip, or more generic ones (cheaper).

I believe Halfords also supply a kit which works similarly, but connects directly into the FM aerial inlet by cable, rather than actually broadcasting; these are, I gather, not illegal.

Hi, thanks for the reply, seen one of these fm transmitters before and did'nt think the sound quality was all that great, been on low cost car audio site and there seems to be a few options there, i'll drop them a line.

There's a dedicated ipod adapter made by pioneer cb-ib100. If your hu is compatible, it will display tracks and allow limited search capabilities. Try halfords or online.
