thinking of building a media centre whats best
my current pc is xp2700@2.17mz with 1 gig pc3200ram and 9800xt graphics card. im thinking of either building a media centre for my panny pv500 or using the bones of my main pc for it ,then upgrading my main pc to higher spec.

what specs do i need to look at for a media pc bearing in mind i want to play hd stuff from my pc on to my panny

I have an XP2800, Nvidia 6200 and 1GB RAM and play HD stuff no problems.
