Increasing RGB BW on Barco? Possible?

Hi!
I have a Barcovision 1609s with minty tubes wich I would like to mod so it could do higher BW. (Only 60mHz on a 9-incher...)
I've read about somebody doing this to 1208, how is it done?

the neck boards are the main issue - you need to upgrade them to a higher bandwidth chip set.....

Chips not made anymore and they are usually about £75 EACH...

Also H&V board upgrades so to be honest for a 16 series I would guess not worth it......

You also need tubes and lenses capable of high resolution.....
