Graphic Card advice - Aaagghhh

Hi

just spent a lot of time (money) getting my system spot on. Now dealing with the noise issues.
swapped the psu for a zalman - sorted
resigned to the fact that i need a cpu cooler which is quiter than the standard intel - ordering zalman cnps 7000 tomorrow (7700 & 9500 won't fit, not enough radius around my cpu, have only 63mm)
It appears that most noise is coming from my 6600 AGP graphic card fan. it's hellish noisey (its the 256mb non GT card).
not a lot of room around it for the zalman cooling gismo's that you can add on - any idea's?
is there an AGP x 8 card with the same performance that is fanless? maybe it will be easier to ebay it and put an alternative card in. any views.

If i can fit any of the fancy cooling boltons i'm gonna loose a pci slot next to the graphics card at least and i don't want to do that.

would appreciate any advice before i go mad.

thanks

Peter,

Don't worry help is at hand and closer than you think...

This should do the job I think http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx...MB+AGP8x+DVI-I

I'd check through the forum though as some people have reported the heat pipes on some fanless cards not fitting in certain cases.

And I wouldn't bother Ebaying your card maybe just give it to a colleague at work as a xmas gift
