Sony 28" WEGA Bargain
I've been looking into gettin this tv for my parents x-mas gift and have been attempting to get it off John Lewis for the 5 year guarantee benefit. Only yesterday, the price was a reasonable £299. I went online today and found that they've reduced it to a mere £229!
It isn't in stock at the moment, they appear to have been waiting on it for some time now, but it remains a bargain imo.
See it here

Currys do now but it was 319.99 only yesterday (as was JL price), but JL give you the 5 yr guarantee, hence my point...although Currys charge 19.99 for delivery and JL is free.

Moob,
Look through the Forum and you'll see JL Customer Service is very highly rated.
Now look at members' opinion of Comet/Currys!
Remember, price isn't everything.
(Also, the free JL guarantee means your parents will get a prezzy that will last at least 5 years without worries. )
You know it makes sense!

enter "kelkoo" under the vouchers option for free delivery ("MAC5" gives you an extra 5% off but it's supposed to be for McDonalds employees so they may call you up to check) not as good as a 5 year warranty I agree, but if it's the last resort.

Is Jessops the photography chain store owned by John Lewis? Or have I confused things even further.

Ordered one of these, would be rude not to at the price (and the fact that I have the amasing ability to break a tv just outside of the 1 year warranty)! Reviews I've read don't look too shabby. Any owners want to add their own comments regarding the set?
