A few niggling questions about my MCE 'puter...

Hi all,

Hope you can help out with this stuff, it's been bugging me:

1: Where did my Movie Finder option from the My TV selection go? Now I only have Recorded and Live TV, and I liked that Movie Finder thingy!

2: Why do I get a 5.1 signal to my amp from Divx/Xvid 5.1 movies, but not from DVDs played via MCE?

Cheers

1) the movie finder is a US only thing. A long time ago, in a thread far far away I explained how to get the movie finder service if you are in the UK. Search the forums, the info is there. It involves changing your regional settings and then hacking windows to use a uk keyboard for a US regional setting.

Thanks for the Movies tip, it must have disappeared after my last update.

Is there anything in the setting for you to enable a 5.1 upmix for all sound, except for in DVD's where the sound is set seperately in the DVD codecs. I found this with my Mysteque 5.1 card.
