optical cable problem

hi
my receiver system ( yamaha av57 ) has an optical toslink connection & my dvd recorder audio out (optical ) has a 'pcm/bitstream' socket.
can anyone tell me what cable am i looking for ?

If your dvd recorder has an optical out and your av receiver an optical in,then you need a standard toslink to toslink optical cable.
