please help treo problems

I'm still having problems with my new 650.

1. The camera won't work. When I press the centre button to capture a photo, it jumps to alert page instead.

2. Real player won't play: lauch error, missing localisation information

3. I successfully hotsynced yesterday and organised all my documents, photos etc which downloaded to treo. This morning I made some changes to my calendar and synced again. These changes are reflected, but I've lost my photos. Also my preferences for setting the hard button actions have been lost.

4. As recommended by another user, the problems probably emanate from the fact that I'm using the same user name as I did on my tungsten. I've tried to reload the palm desktop software to do it from scratch but it won't allow me to do this. My intention is to do a hard reset. However, if I have to uninstall palm desktop and also do a hard reset on the treo I will lose all my data.

How do I sort out this mess? Should I install desktop on other computer and sync the treo to get a backup of my data, or should I try to back up to SD (how?).

I can't even use my tungsten now as the desktop upgrade only allows it to work on the treo.

Please help!
