I use TomTom with a £50 GPS off of Ebay and it works really well. Sometimes I have to "reboot" the phone to connect to the GPS but it is a great solution.

To get TomTom working with the N70 I bought a 512MB card for the phone, copied all of the files onto this card and it worked fine. There was an issue with bluetooth connections and the first release of Tomtom 5.0, but the 5.01 version sorted this out.

This could be a dumb question but I have TT5 for my PDA with an ebay Bluetooth jobbie, works great, but I also have a Smartphone I'd like to use it with instead. Could I install to a mini SD card and use it, or do I need the TT5 Mobile software?

You need TT written for the specific OS of the phone.

Others and myself have the ' BT77 ' from ebay and have had no problems with this on various phones and pdas. Available for less than £50, which is a lot less than you will pay in the shops
