Speaker Toe-in?

Hi guys, I have a stereo system based around my PC meaning the speakers are very close to me. I have them toes in at quite an angle, I'm only about 2-3 feet from the speakers so if you can imagine my ears being the thirds point of the triangle as it were. Do you think this is the best way to have them? Or would it be best to have them pretty much facing straight out?

Also as a side note, do you think a hi-fi sounds better further away from you than close up or no difference?

Whatever sounds best to you is what's best for you! Put them further away, if you prefer it, keep them there.

I think most of the time though its best not to have the parallel to a wall because the sound waves rebound and interfere more with each other or something, angled is better.

Speakers will sound better close up away from side/rear walls as you have a direct sound with less reflections.Angled or toed in as fine as your getting a more direct and focused sound.If it sounds good,it is good.
