Setting up Panasonic SC-HT530

Just bought pan SC-HT530 from Empire Direct.
What is the best way to set this up to get the best performance.

I am going to try the speaker cables that come with the system, have any of you used the T&E cable or the van dam blue series with the Pan.

Any other info would be appreciated. Barry

I'm Using the cables that came in the box, no noticeable hum or anything that my hearing can detect.

Wait till you get it set-up and pop a DVD in. for the money it sounds stunning

I am over the moon with the sound, using the basic cabling that came with the system.

Unfortunately I haven't managed to get the sound to work with sky channel and TV prog just yet. I have connected DVD using component video.

I guess I will have to buy some more cabling for audio?your help would be appreciated. many thanks in anticipation.Barry.

Use a set of these for other audio inputs (e.g. sky to 530 or VCR to 530)

p.s. doesn't have to be these exact one, just an example
