Hooking up a PC to my panny 52

hello all.

Just bought the panny 52, now I didnt intend on hooking up a PC to it but seeing as any other type of HD source material is a long way off I thought I would give it a go. The only problem is the 52 doesnt have a proper PC connection. only HDMI

I have a laptop with a VGA out ( to hook up to projectors etc )

and a main PC with a 6800GT graphics card, this has both DVI out and VGA

ideally I would prefer just to hook up the laptop when I want to rather then mess about with huge runs of cables as my main PC is in another room. can I get proper HD quality comign though off the laptop connection or will it need the digital out of my main PC.

if so what cables are needed.

thanks in advance
