Nokia 6280....any good?

Seriously thinking of getting a Nokia 6280 on 3...well pretty much decided! Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on it 1st though...I would probably change my mind if there was a better phone for around the same price though...

It looks quite big and thats my only worry...but the screen looks huge? Anyone actually seen one in real life because I know they havent been released yet!

its a good phone, standard nokia which is fine, and a tad bigger than d500 but not by much.
how bout lg 880 aka muse?

Just had a look at the LG...prefer the look of the nokia, think ive pretty much set my heart on that phone now lol

Also, have you seen any good 1/2 price line rental deals with it? best i've seen is 9 months?

When i rang a company on saturday they told me if i ordered it now i would recieve it 7-10 days as its not out yet, so must be quite soon

iv got 500 on order im told 5 days till delivery so other places should be around the same maybe quicker as were not high on the food chain as such

no idea of deals yet havnt seen many around yet, but to be fair from business point of view its a cheapish handset for dealers to buy meaning more flexibility for deals for u guys,
so if ur after cashback deals etc dont be forced to take a naff deal on it, its a cheap handset for the dealers.

I rang them and they said they will be available on the 12th of december......am tempted to pre-order and stick a tenner of credit on my soon to expire 3 contract to tide me over.

What are the chances of them having the stock on the 12th though.....

Hmmm, tempted with the risk, even if they're not too hot on their redemption (is any company!?)

Been on various forums finding out about each company, and they all seem to be crap at sending the cheques out!
Simply after talk and text 900 (12month) for as little as possible (i.e. 12months 1/2 price ideal)

Any advice?

to be honest the deals are really rubbish at mo!

from a dealer point of view its an ok time for handsets but deals are poo.

i dont do cashbacks etc, and doint trust em, however if u have a good experience of a cashback gone good perhaps we cud setup a list for guys, as im sure 1000's are being ripped off every month.
sometimes if u ask nicel etc u may get ur cashback there and then in store, give it a go if u know of any independents near u and ur considering 2 or more!

say to em:
iv been with curent supplier for x/y/z years (the more the better)
so i always stick to my contracts so the contract will be completed so from a business point of view there will be no clawbacks from the network to u, so if u give me the full cashback amount today ill take it!

i tld a few mates to do this and it worked in a few places.

the genuine companies doing cashback are just worried about being clawbacked from the netwroks if u dont pay.
3 are the most relaxed! orange are strict, ie if u (customer) dont pay say ur 6th month bill n do one they go back to dealer to get the cost of handset cost back in full, plus commision and maybe even outstanding balance or 10% of the annual rental.
