6230i/S65/CX65/K700I - help me decide!

Hello folks - this is my first foray into the mobile phones forum, and am looking for some help - I have to change my mobile phone for work purposes, and am left with a choice of the above four. I have done a quick review on "reviewcentre.com" (or whatever it is called - is there a better website to help me?), and am just not sure. I want something that looks good, has a good battery life on both standby and talktime, and will not let me down. I'm not fussed overly about the camera or games or anything. Don't knmow much about Siemens phones in particular - are they any good??

Thanks in advance

That's the easiest decision ever. Two of them are Siemens so avoid those like you would the Black Death. The 6230i is a far superior phone to the K700i, though the 700i is a great phone.

There's only one choice to be made there, mate.

Thanks Chrislad - Nokia 6230i ordered accordingly

Out of curiosity, what makes the Siemens phones so bad in your opinion?

The software on them is pretty crap, they are poorly built. I work in a phone shop and when the MC60, CFX60 and that 'builders phone' they had came in, there was literally a 50% fail rate on all 3 of them. I'm not exagerrating either. I mean, it got to the stage where I would prefer to lose a sale, rather than go through the aggro of dealing with them coming back. They even broke when they came back from repair. More than 4 times for one customer. I generally just avoid them, from a professional and personal point of view (as I owned a MC60, as the 3100 was out of stock at the time and I needed a phone).

Oh and for the record, Sony Ericsson are (at the moment) a lot better than Nokia. If the choice was between the 6230i and the equivilent SE model, I'd go for the SE. As it was, the K700i is a mid level model, which the 6230i is a mid to high level model. The K750i, the successor to the K700i, is a much better phone that the 6230i
