N70 help, getting rid of the shortcuts

when on start up and the main screen you have them start ups, how do u get rid of them???

Do you mean active standby? or do you mean the Orange quick launch menu?

If it's Orange I belive there is no way of switching this off, If its Active Standby and presuming the N70 menu is set up the same way as my N90 do this....

MENU>>>TOOLS>>>SETTINGS>>>PHONE>>>STANDBY MODE>>>AND CHANGE ACTIVE STANDBY TO OFF

Yep the active standby option setting is the same on the N70. And yes the Orange HomeScreen can only be removed by re-flashing the phone's ROM memory with updated Nokia generic unbranded N70 firmware.

thanks yes it was active standby mode

lovley

another question when u do a video and then go to put the video on your computer its a mp4 and wont play

what can i do?

Apple's Quicktime player should be able to handle MP4 video.
