Sony HX510: Dubbing from Disc to HDD

Hi there

Does anyone know if there is any way that you can dub just a certain section of a disc to the HDD, or do you have to copy the whole thing and then edit on the HDD direct?

Say I want to just dub the last 5 minutes of a show from disc to HDD. Is there any quick way round this?

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Paul
