Panasonic ES20 Freeview Tuning

I have emailed Panasonic but have had no reply so I thought I would ask you learned folks!

I have run the auto setup and the unit has picked all the channels BUT I live near Southampton, UK and are covered by 2 transmitters [Rowridge and Hannington]. I also have a Humax digibox and that has tuned in the BBC channels to Hannington Ch50 [stronger signal] but the Panny has tuned to Rowridge Ch23. I would have thought it would have found the Ch50 and replaced the Ch23 but it has not and I cannot find any way to change this - any ideas?

The only thought I had was to restart auto setup with the antenna unplugged until it moves off Ch23 but will it leave it alone then or tune it back any time it searches again? But I kept thinking 'this is a Panasonic - surely there is a better way of doing this?' as my Humax has quite sophisticated search options to individually search the multiplex channels?

Doesn't seem to be any manual tuning on digital channels. Suggest you go into setup menu and select "Auto Setup Restart".

It says all station settings and created profiles are deleted during a restart so hopefully this may result in it setting the best signal strengths this time.

Here's an idea for you.
Take the DVD recorder to Hannington and tune it in from there. Shame I live to far away as I have a manis inverter wired up in my car and could park under the transmitter with a portable TV and a set top aerial :D
