DVB Recording
Ihave a panasonic TH-42PE30 with built in freeview connected to a Pioneer DVR-433H-S via scart. When i try to download DVB channels a message comes on screen Cannot download presets. could not communicate successfully with the TV. Can anyone please tell me what i am doing wrong regards Alan

I thought the 433 is an analogue tuner only, in which case it will only accept presets for the analogue broadcast and not digital. If I'm wrong, someone will correct me.

You aren't wrong. The easiest way to record freeview on your dvd recorder is to purchase a separate STB and connect that to the DVDR. This will allow you to watch a freeview channel on the TV whilst recording a different freeview channel on the recorder.

If you mean something like the Panasonic EH60D or ES20D rather than connect a STB then the answer is YES.
