Possible to use IRMan with MCE?

Hi all

I have an IRMan and was wondering if it would work with MCE?

Thanks

I've managed to get the IRMan working with Microsoft Media Center using IRServer mostly and some other commands are routed through Girder (Pause, FF, RW etc).

I found a decent article that shows all the MCE keyboard shortcuts which helps.

The only command I havent managed to work out is Page up/Page down for channel changing via Girder.

And ive managed to get DigiTV Working with it flawlessly too.

Excellent, you did well

I asked the same question on here some time back, but no one knew
New MS MCE keyboard receiver query

So I bought all the MCE bits from MS.

I still have the IRMan, and would appreciate a link to the info you found if possible please.

Cheers

The MCE Keyboard Shortcuts can be found here:

I would appreciate anybody that knows how to send Page Up/Down using Girder too.

Thanks

Just an update to anybody that is reading this

I have now managed to get the IRMan receiver and a DigiTV Remote control (ONE For ALL) working perfectly using Girder and Windows Media Center Edition.

Including the difficult ones like

Next / Previous Chan
MCE Green Button (Takes you to the start page)
Back a step
Record, Stop, Pause, FF, FREW

I was shocked to discover the PCI DigiTV card works perfectly using the older BDA Drivers (ver 1.032) And a desktop ariel that produces quite poor analog tv but seems to pick up 45+ digital channels fine.

I actually prefer MCE to Digi-TV's own system that was quite slow and unresponsive for me.
