Connecting a SACD player to a AV reciever
I just need to know to to connect a Sacd/dvd player to my AV reciever. Both are SACD compatible. Both have HDMI connections.

not sure if SACD goes over HDMI yet, mebbe in stereo....but would need to be the latest version of HDMI, cant remember what that is now....even then it might as i say not work...

unless you have Denonlink or possible iLink/firewire, the only way is to use the 6 channel outputs from the player to the external inputs on the amp.......so you need 3 pairs of stereo RCA cables.......

HDMI need to be 1.2 and currently we are on 1.1 with the best kit and 1.0 for most, so it is the analgue connection for SACD audio
