Media Center Keyboard - not responding

Hi
just received the new media center keyboard and first impressions are very good, pleased so far.

no keyboard or mouse functions though. the receiver indicates it is receiving a signal when i press a key but nothing happens on screen. Updates are on etc.

buttons that navigate the media center work - my music my pictures etc and standby. but no mouse and main keyboard keys. how can it be that part of it works and other parts don't?

theres an easy explanation - right ?

Have you installed the driver software?

p.s. I know nothing about this keyboard, so just lobbing ideas in the air.

make sure you have the mce keyboard update installed then unplug your usb reciver an plug it back in.

have you installed roll-up 2? I'm using the keyboard right now (I lik it:)) and it didn't work till I installed roll-up 2.

Make sure your windows updates are all, up to date!

success, heard bad reports about the mouse button thingy, thought i would give it a try it couldn't have been as bad as people made out. It isn't it's worse, unuasable i can't believe microsoft couldn't do a better job than that.

Yes, I thought that at first, it does get easier - perservere... however, I always have my gyration mouse nearby when it gets too frustrating.
