Are the event log warnings normal with S3?

Hi,

Does everyone here who has S3 enabled (and working ) get Event Log->Media Center warnings concerning programs starting to record late due to a possible loss of power?

These are also always paired with warning that some of the show might have been lost due to loss in signal.

Perhaps setting the "Start Before" setting to a little earlier might be a good idea.

Thanks
Sniff

No one then?

The event log can be seen by right clicking on My Computer->Manage, then Event Viewer, just in case ......

No, I don't get these warning so I don't think they are normal. No idea what to suggest though. Sorry.

I don't seem to be losing any recordings, so not that worried. Having to rebuild tonight anyway, so may hopefully go away after the re-install

Thanks for responding though, at least I know I'm not the only one here!

No don't get them either....well not in the Media Center event log...I do get warnings regarding AVG in the application log suggesting that S3 wake-up is causing a problem...

The only logs I've got in the Media Center event log are regarding succesful recordings....

Strage. This is what I get:

Quote:
Recording of Lost began late on 30/11/2005 22:00:01 due to a temporary failure caused by either a system malfunction or a power loss and stopped on 30/11/2005 23:06:59.
reinstalling now, I'll post here if it solves it....
