ALOT of titles there!!
These will play on regular DVD players ... like my Pio 868?

I might hold off getting some films then if the High Def versions will soon be released!!??

AND these are the "BESTEST" dvd's ever, yeah??? lol
I mean there won't be another HD format that comes out (apart from Blueray) that will play on normal DVD players???

WMV HD does not play on normal DVD players. You need a WMV HD compatible dvd player to use these discs or a pc. The 868 isnt one of these WMV HD compatible players.

No. The 868 is a SD player and wont play any type of HD at all. For HD you will need a special HD player or PC.

Thanks for clarification.
SO I may as well buy the normal SD of Batman Begins then... I'm sure it will be a while before a decent (Pioneer) HD-DVD player will be out...

Yes it will be a while before we start seeing retail HD DVD's or Blue Ray discs hit our shelves. We might see them in around 6 months or so but the titles will be limited at first and grow steadly as the format becomes more popular (similar to dvd).

BTW Batman begins is a top movie.

It WILL be very popular. Just look at the nutters on this site alone ... gotta have the best PQ and the best audio!
Its proven when the dvd co's release special editions with extra DTS tracks etc... people still buy them!!
The same will happen with HD-DVD's ... better picture, people will buy.
I've done that with the Superbit titles I like.
