Hi
To use the pause and record option you need two cables.

i dont know guaranteed, but i would imagine one cable would allow live pause and rewind, or watch recording while recording something else....

when you live pause you are just watching a temporary recording, the sky box continues to keep recording what you are watching......so i would imagine it only needs the one input.....if however you want to record something and watch something else live on another channel then you are not going to be able to...

but as i say i may be wrong, technically i cant see why it wouldnt, but sky software might not allow it...but then they are aware some people are in buildings where sky+ can only have one channel because of the lease agreements and the built in cabling (ie a block of flats). best to ask sky about this one to be safe....

I had my box running on one cable for a while when I moved house, seem to remember live pause worked OK - I think!
