Cheap SVHS Tapes ?

Folks,

Has anyone found a cheap source for SVHS tapes on the net anywhere ?

If not which High Street retailer offers the best prices ?

While browsing the display last week in the Currys at Middlebrook Bolton I found the double pack 3 hour JVC SV SVHS tapes selling for £4.97 per pack (the triple packs were selling at £14.99!!). Took 4 packs to the checkout only to discover that the till was pricing the tapes on a three for the price of two offer!. Ended up buying 6 double packs (i.e. 12 x 3hour SVHS tapes) for just a few pence short of £20.

Fair chuffed with that bargain as I had though that the double pack for £4.97 was pretty good in itself let alone the 3 for 2 offer.

Don't know if the 3 for 2 is a local pricing mistake or not but may be worth a try at your local Currys.
