Unhappy panasonic mx300: disabling auto-power-off

Does anyone know how to disable the auto-power-off
"feature" on a Panasonic MX300? Even when using
mains power (rather than the battery pack), the camera
shuts itself down after 5 minutes of inactivity. There
doesn't seem to be a menu option for this.

I'm shooting a scene with an array of these cameras,
all cameras triggered from the same remote. I spend a lot
of time framing and tweaking each view, and it is frustrating
to be ready to roll only to have a camera shut itself off.

Cheers,
Darran.
