How low to the ground?

I'm wondering.. When I buy my screen and when I'm putting it on the wall, how high should I put it from the ground? When I watch my projected image I sit in a pretty low comfortable "chair" (something like this: http://www.motherdigital.info/images...2/gamepod1.jpg when I sit in it the back goes further down so I look higher)

1m from the ground?

PS: When people buy theirself a screen, are most of them going to project the image on the whole screen or for example 5/6th?

Eye level should be approx 1/3rd up from the bottom of the screen.

Aim to fill all your screen as the unused portion will decrease perceived contrast & generally make the setup look bad. You want the black border "framing" the projected image.

my eye level is 1m (=3.3feet)

(my screen is 3.4 feet high and 6 feet width)

so 3.3feet eye level devided by 3 = 1.1 feet

so my screen should be 1.1 feet away from the ground, is this correct? 'cause I don't quite understand it

Nearly!

your screen is 3.4feet high - 1/3 from the bottom of this is 1.1feet (ish)

your eiye height is 3.3 feet which should be around 1/3 up the screen.

So screen height (bottom of) should be 3.3-1.1 = 2.2 feet from the ground.
