Help with New Sony DAV-DZ500F

Hi All
i've just bought the sony Dav-dz500f

im using it with my hitachi dp7200 plasma on component

which is the best progressive scan to leave it on

progressive auto,progressive,or normal interlace

these are the three option that appear when i press the progrssvie button on the remote

the PQ is outstanding aswell as the sound on my test disc Gladiator 3 disc edtion....


could you please advise as to which is best and any comments or advice on ethier of these items would be great thanks

Page 25 in the user manual explains this,i would select P.AUTO,quoting from the manual 'This automatically detects the software type and selects the appropriate conversion method'

On my samsung plasma i can see no diff between prog Auto or prog Video - they both look superb.....however the normal interlace looks worse in comparision - i'd stick with auto.
