sony bean too quiet!!

I have just bought a sony bean nwe207, very nice but very quiet, does anybody know how to increase the volume? I know theres a hack for the nwhd5 will that work?
I just replaced a older unit nwe55 which was a lot louder PLEASE SOMEONE HELP !

just an update I've tried the hd5 hack instructions and it doesn't work !!

Sorry about your sound levels. I'm sure there will be a way 'round it. May I ask, did your player come with Sonic Stage or Connect? If it was Connect, is there any indication as to whether or not the new software is Mac friendly?

Mine came with SS 3.2 ( the nwa1000/3000 comes with Connect).
unfortunately it's not MAC compatible unless you use virtual pc and even then it's slow in running a transfering, Sorry!!
