Help me spend my dosh....

Decided to invest in a DVD recorder and have to make a choice based upon the following criteria;

I have Sky+ so the main reason for the unit is gonna be a dump for recordings that I've had clogging up my hard drive for ages. I also plan to archive my VHS tapes. So editing facilities are important, but the size of the hard drive is not.

Not too bothered about a tuner, but if it has one it must be digital.

Read that some units have a "jukebox" facility........ What is that?

Compatibility with maximum number of formats is also important.

Based upon this I have dismissed the Sony HX-510 and am moving towards the Pannys...... Comments/recommendations please.

Oh aye......... budget...... < £400
