new i pod user
hi, my lass has just got herself an Ipod, she has got her music in to Itunes but it wont update automatically. When she goes to the File Menu the update Ipod heading is not highlighted.
Any ideas as to what we are doing wrong, we are using a USB Port on the front of the CPU, should we be using one of the main terminals at the back??
Also, when downloading music, do you need to sort the playlists on Itunes, and if so, if you delete music off Itumes is it deleted of the Ipod.
Hope you can help, got 20GB of memory and no music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you plug the ipod in, it should show it under Library, then you can right click on it choose which playlists you want to put on the ipod, then if you update your itunes library, it will update the ipod automatically.
If it isn't seeing it, try a different connection, either one round the back or a firewire one if you have the connector.
If that doesn't work, you will have to visit the apple website, you may have to update your drivers on your computer.

You can add folder on File settings, tell itunes where your music is and it will add it to the library.
