Queries about SONY DAV-DZ700FW

I've been reading other posts related to SONY DAV-DZ700FW and wondered if someone could clarify a few things. This is my first vernture into home-cinema so bear with me

1. Wireless speakers. From what little info I can find they use infa-red. Does that mean I need clear line-of-sight between the DVD unit and the both speakers?

2. Where can I download a English manual, to get full spec and also in case I order from Pixmania. Sony.co.uk doesn't given much of a spec and doesn't offer any manuals for this model.

3. If I buy from Pixmania are Sony UK obliged to honour the warranty (same as pan-EU car warranties?)

4. is it easy to connect an iPod to this system?
