Innovatek dvd player mp3 issue

Hi everyone nice forums here...uhm was just wondering i recently purchased a Innovatek dvd 391 player for my truck i like the sound and everything i don't have a monitor i purchased it mainly to be able to slap 1000 mp3's on one disc...my problem is it won't read past 255 songs.....any ideas...i tried using different folders but i think without a screen i can't see how to get to the different folders....was thinking it should at least read to 999 though...if anyone out there has one or has any ideas maybe you could let me know what you think...thx again...HJU
