Sony XES system or PC for home use?
Hello
Just like to say thanks to everyone who replied on my first thread here, many thanks! The house move is dragging on, so I will have to wait a little while... I have currently got a decent enough seperates system, but don't have a CD player/transport at the moment...since the last Technics one died... I have three options available - 1: Use my home PC. This would be a convenient soloution, wouldn't cost much, and I can have easy access to MP3's, and play CD's. Does the sound card matter when it comesto sound quality? Is it better or worse than a normal CD player? 2. The Sony XES system. I have one of these (the P1 I think, made in 1991) a complete system for In Car audio for a while now. This is a super high end system. Can this be used for home? If so what will I need? 3. The obvious, buy a CD player seperate! Once again, thanks for your time and help, much appreicated!! |
