Question Wall mounted or floor standing

I am new to this site & am contemplating buying a home cinema package. Probably a simple question, but...

Should the speakers to wall mounted or floor standing?

If wall mounted, is there an ideal height?

Thanks.

The tweeters on the front speakers should be at about ear level when you are seated so either stand or wall mount will do but try and make sure that the speaker is as rigid as possible whichever method you choose.

Rear speakers can either be at ear level or higher on the wall facing slightly downwartds.

It is always better to play around with different placements if possible as it can make quite a difference to the overall sound.
