Auto changer help

My Philps autochanger (RC026) stoped working & wont eject the discs. Repair is more expensive than another second hand one (which I've bought). So, I've dismantled the old changer & a disc is still 'playing' so it wont eject the cartridge. Can anyone describe how to return the 'playing disc' so I can eject them all. So far no amount of twiddling has helped.
