Need a long, thin component cable

I am just in the process of moving, and have had the walls chased for my screens.

Unfortunately, the trunking that has been used will not fit my current component cables (QED PCV1 and Belden 1604).

I am looking for something that is thin enough to fit into the trunking (less that 20mm), but hopefully will come close to the quality I have got already.

I need 1x3m and 1x5m cables.

The only thing I have seen that seems to fit the bill is the Ixos XHV704? Has anyone got this cable?

VanDamme 75ohm Mini Red Series 4 core has an OD of 8.8mm and Mini 5 Core has an OD of 9.6mm and will take Video Signals up to and beyond 15m with ease.

These can be supplied as Terminated or Un-terminated - depending on your ability to pull the cable through with 3 x RCA connectors attached or not.

Best regards

Joe

Joe,

Thanks, that sounds exactly what I am after. I have never bought unterminated cables before - are the RCAs fairly easy to connect?

Hello daveb975

You can use Crimp or Solder on RCA's - I guess more folk have access to a Soldering Iron and someone with a Steady Hand plus Crimp Tools are quite expensive.

Its easy enough to order the cable pre-terminated at one end and pre-tinned and stripped ready for soldering at the other end.

Best regards

Joe
