Well that looks like the end of [.tv] as I watched it every night, I feel a bit ****ed that BskyB have pulled the channel.
As most houses have a computer, I cannot see it being unpopular.
On the bright side we might get an other Do It Yourself/Lifestyle station or something useless, then they will increase the subscription above the rate of inflation.
Ruby quartz shades.
Yes I understand how you feel But Sky cannot win with such a channel because althought most of us have PC's how many watch it? I do'nt and I work for an Small IT company.
What level to you set the programs at to low and I turn off to high and channel hopers bypass it for being to geeky.
Maybe a techno lifesyle channel would be better. A UK stle type channel showing how to sell up an home cinema centre. What furniture you can get whats the maxinum safe distance between the Tv and the Fridge.

This is certainly a shame.
I have been waiting for years for some good computer games programmes to come along, and so far have had: Micro Live, Gamesmaster, Bits, Game Over and the Godawful GamesNetwork.
And yet, every year we hear that the computer (games) industry is ultra-popular and is worth billions and billions of squids...but nobody seems to be able to produce a consistently good and regular games programme.
But more and more DIY/cooking programmes seem to get commissioned on a seemingly daily basis.
WHY??????????????????
i too will miss it
especialy chris long . where else can you see somone get so much wrong on a tv prog LOL
I agree.
Gameover, Ex Machina, Gamechart, Players, Mastercraft and CWE were things I could watch when nothing else was on.
I also agree that Game-network is the most amateur cheap ****es I have ever seen.

Yeah, I quite liked Road Test & CWE. Especially the lovely Kate stumbling over the e-mails! She could stumble over me anytime.

Feeling a bit gutted now rather than ****ed.
I wouldn’t exactly call [.tv] geeky I suppose the only two program that would come into this category would be Chips With Everything and Masterclass, which where both informative. Ex Machina was a good all round entertainment mag, Web Select for pointing interesting web sites, Game Over anything connected with games. Road Test some diverse items reviewed sorry about Bob though, he was a real genuine nice guy. And there were some interesting nights on Buyers Guide and I liked Fozzy Bear falling over his tongue I mean Chris (e-bag) Long. The only program I did not care for was the one with the cars, boats etc. as the review of the unit was reviewed them something like "this goes fast, isn’t this great upholstery, this goes super fast, this has a nice CD player in it.
I suppose the name of the channel did not do itself any favours it would have been better to keep the old Computer Channel when they moved over to the digital service, then folk browsing the index would know what it was about. Funny, Game Network is in the Entertainment index (should be in a For The Brain Dead index) yet [.tv] was in the News index.
I got in to computing probably because of Micro Live, by the way Juzminator
you missed Bad Influence one of the better game shows. I did not like Games Master as it did not review games only showed people playing them. I to cannot believe there is no major Computer/Games program on tv at a reasonable 3and 4 am is not reasonable time, as I believe is more earns more than the pop industry yet we have 13 satellite channels hundreds of radio stations for music.
PS
Squid I wrote the above off line reason for mentioning Chris Long again.
Arthur S who was that on CWE who use to say re-install to nearly everything.
