Band of Brothers mini series.

For anyone that missed it, it starts on Friday night this week, BBC2 at 8.30pm I think.<br />This is the Saving Private Ryan style series I babbled about a few months back that looks really good.

Based on a true account of a unit in the 101st Airborne this has received good reviews in the States. Likely to be more slow than SPR but if you stick with it, its likely to be very worth while given the production values and inputs.

Based on the book by Stephen Ambrose - interesting book but really only for us WWII nerds (nothing new, just a good factual read) or folks generally interested in the war.

I plan to record it all and watch it in a oneser (via Sky+)! I doubt I'll be able to resist watching each episode as its broadcast though. All the waaaay!
