I haven't really had a chance to programme mine properly yet and I also don't have access to pronto edit because I can't access it via the computer at work and I haven't got a computer at home. So, if I'm programming manually, is it possible to hide the pages you don't want? for example, the DVD option has 6 pages but I only need two of them and I also want to move them so that the one I need most pops up first. I'm assuming I can do this quite easily? Sorry to sound stupid but my Pronto and instructions are at home and I just haven't had a chance to play with it yet, so I thought I'd get some advie from the experts. I'm depserate to show it off!

Not sure if you can hide pages if you're not using PE. In PE you just right click on the page & choose "Is hidden". To really get the best out of your Pronto Tracey, find a way somehow to use PE. It's a pretty small programme, so easily 'hideable' on your work PC!
Tracey, I agree with Arthur. The Pronto is a wonderful remote, but you can only really get the best out of it if you use ProntoEdit. Without that it's just a very slick One for All (without the built in IR codes!)

So if I download Pronto Edit at work could I then sent stuff to my friends computer and plug my pronto into that to download it? I just can't be seen plugging my remote into my PC at work, we aren't really allowed to download anything either.
You need a PC running ProntoEdit. This is the PC you plug your Pronto into, so you can download and upload to/from the Pronto itself. You can create ccf files on another PC as long as it too has a copy of ProntoEdit. I don't know of any way to download a ccf file to Pronto without using ProntoEdit.
