Can anyone give advise on replacing my many remote controls with a "smart" one. I am considering the Cambridge M500 or the Cambridge M1+.
However although I know they will work my usual h/w, no one seems to know if they can perform the functions of my Philips OnDigital box.
Any advice on any remote control welcome.

The Philex merlin does not seem to cope with my nokia ondig box.

If you can stretch to about £150, have a PC and get a philips pronto

Winnie,
There's a huge problem with Universal remotes & Ondigital digiboxes, because they operate on a different IR frequency to most.
My pronto will not control them. (OK with Sky boxes though) For better advice go to www.remotecentral.com (http://www.remotecentral.com)

The Angel lcd touch-screen remote (about £80) can operate up to 8 items - but you need all original remotes so it can "learn" from them. It's custom key layout is impressive too.

I'm sorted ! Got myself a Marantz RC2000 mkII. I've programmed it for all my remotes, including philips on-digital, no problems at all.
Well impressed with this remote and would recommend this to anyone. Thanx everyone for replying.
Cheers
