Discreete power codes

Hi Chaps,<br /> <br />I've been looking for a discreete power on/off codes for a sky digibox (mines a panasonic) to work with my pronto can anyone oblige?

what do you mean discrete? Like the same button for on and off?

He means a code that's going to have the same effect regardless of what state the box is in:

Does the Sky digibox have different codes that it understands for power control, one means "on", the other "off". No matter what state the box is in, sending a particular code will always have the desired effect.

Most "dumb" remote controls (eg ordinary digibox remote) have a single power button. Press it once to turn the equipment on, again to turn it off. The remote is sending the same code each time, the equipment just "toggles" itself between the on and off states.

Sophisticated AV equipment will have separate codes for ON/OFF etc that makes automating them a snap. If they don't, then you have to come up with a workaround, as mentioned in one of the above posts.
