Sony audio settings

Hi,

I have a question about audio settings on my sony dav-sc5, I think it applies to other sony models too.

When watching sky through the sony, I am never sure which setting should be used for the sound field. It's obvious for DVD's but I find that the auto AFD doesn't seem to do anything with cd's, tv or sky.

Which also leads me to ask exactly how I can find what is coming from the digibox - I would expect just Prologic, although I know it depends on the material broadcast. Perhaps another forum!

Thanks in advance.

cheers, Steve

PS Blue Planet last Saturday sounded wonderful whichever setting I used!
