I have just purchased one of these as a replacement for my "old" Hi-8 Sony. The reason was that I wanted the ability to read my old Hi-8 tapes.
Can anyone reccomend some low cost software to extract stills from tape in either old or new formats and explain the best PC connection method. My PC is a PIII 450 with 128Mb of ram and has USB ports.
