Recording Premiership Plus

Bought my prem+ season ticket a week ago. Can watch the games fine, but my sky+ box wouldn't let me record. Any ideas why?

Cheers

How are you trying to record and what does it say?

I tried in 2 ways through Sky+; pressing record whilst the game was showing on screen and also going to it through TV guide and pressing record. It said 'checking for payment information' and then said 'cannot record' or similar. Other programmes record fine. Is there some kind of restriction on recording prem+?

hmmm, you should be able to record m8, you may need to phone Sky and get them to fix it remotely.

I have Premiership Plus, when I go to the TV Guide to record, it then switches it to Box Office, shows payment as £0.00 as I have Season ticket, and sets it it record. It advises it'll auto delete in like a week or so cause it's a box office event.

I'm the same as ParmMann mate, I recorded the Man U match (not for me for my father in law!!) no probs at the weekend. Went into TV Guide, selected the programe, showed as no purchase price and just added it to the planner. Haven't tried when the match is playing though

If your sky+ box is not connected to a phone, you can not record premplus.

I had premplus last year and the only way to record it was using live pause and even then I could not save the recording.

Your sky card knows you have a subscription but every time you record, it wants to check that you have paid for the program.

For this reason, I have not bothered to pay for premplus this year.

I had the same problem myself. Called Sky and they said it was a known problem that they were working on a fix for. There advice was to do a manual record, I tried it and it works.
